In partnership with Healthy Little Cooks, a non-profit organization teaching valuable lessons and connecting people through cooking, the FMA kicked off the pilot Family Cooking class on June 25 at Fort Meade. The class consisted of 11 families who learned to make Butterfly Pea Flower Lemonade, Veggie Pasta Salad and a Berry Lemon Tart. Families also received a bag of groceries with fresh produce and ingredients to make the recipes at home.
