FMA Foundation Makes Board Member Changes

June 30, 2022 – The Fort Meade Alliance (FMA) Foundation is pleased to announce the elections of Doreen Harwood of DEHarwood, LLC, Joe Pacileo of IronNet, Inc. and Tim Ward of KatzAbosch to the Board of Directors. The Board also appointed Community Volunteer Linda Greene as Secretary.

The Foundation would like to thank retiring board members Secretary Allyson Lestner of The Legacy Group and Jim Thomas of Wells Fargo for their service. A special thank you also goes to long-time board member Penny Cantwell of Sandy Spring Bank who has retired after years of dedication to the organization’s education and workforce initiatives.

Harwood, who has retired as FMA president, officially joins the FMA Foundation Board. Pacileo, the newly elected FMA President, joins the board as the FMA’s representative. Ward joins the FMA Foundation Board with a career that spans over 30 years with a focus on providing assurance, tax and business advisory services to clients in the government contracting, construction, real estate and technology industries

Harwood, Pacileo and Ward join the now 13-member Board led by President Deon Viergutz of Lockheed Martin Corporation, Vice President Frankie Velez of Praxis Engineering Technologies, Secretary Linda Green and Treasurer Jay Baldwin of Atlantic Union Bank. Remaining Board Members include Sean Battle formerly of BigBear.ai, Dr. Michael Cataldo of Kennedy Krieger Institute, Elizabeth Rendon-Sherman of LG-TEK, Ed Rothstein of ERA Advisory LLC, Steven Tiller of Whiteford, Taylor & Preston and Tim O’Ferrall (ex-officio) of the Fort Meade Alliance.
